At Cheap Fit Dance Wear Store, we want every dancer to be as happy with their purchase as they are with a perfect pirouette. If your dancewear doesn’t fit quite right or isn’t what you expected, our returns process is as smooth as a well-executed glissade.

Our Return Policy

You may return most unworn, unwashed items with original tags within 15 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Please note:

  • Items must be in original condition with all tags attached
  • We cannot accept returns of ballet shoes, character shoes, or dance tights/socks for hygiene reasons (these items appear in your order confirmation as non-returnable)
  • Costume accessories and dance underwear are final sale
Important: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on any footwear (including ballet shoes and character shoes), hosiery (tights and socks), or intimate apparel (dance underwear, camisoles, and catsuits/unitards). These items will be clearly marked in your order confirmation.

How to Return an Item

Follow these simple steps to initiate your return:

  1. Contact us within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and return request
  2. Wait for approval – we’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions
  3. Package your item securely in the original packaging if possible
  4. Ship your return to our Manchester address (we recommend using a trackable service)
  5. Wait for processing – we’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we cannot be responsible for lost returns.

Refund Timeline

Once we receive your return:

  • Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days
  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Credit card refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement

Exchanges

Need a different size or color? We’re happy to help!

  1. Follow the same return process above
  2. Clearly indicate in your email that you’d like an exchange and specify the replacement item
  3. If the exchange item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference
  4. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference

Exchanges are subject to availability. If your desired item is out of stock, we’ll issue a refund instead.
